Coordinating with Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital, Lions Club of Nepal Everest had supported to conduct 3 days’ heart disease health campaign in Gandaki Rural Municipality of Gorkha District started on 29th August 2019. A total of 1193 people had gone through heart screening in the campaign. Among them, serious heart diseases were found in 9 patients who were gone through heart surgery. Team of senior heart surgeon Dr. Anil Bhattarai from Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital was involved in the check-up and surgery of the patients.
